This site is here to provide you with all the details you’ll need as we count down to our wedding day.
You’ll find information about our venue, accommodations, dress code, and RSVP details.

Things to think about before the wedding
Here is a short checklist to make sure that you have everything you need for the wedding.

Day 1
03rd July 2025

Join us the evening before the wedding at the hotel bar for a delightful pre-celebration. It’s the perfect opportunity to unwind, mingle with friends and family, and share a few heartfelt toasts as we gear up for the big day ahead.

1:45 PM - 4 PM, Boat tour, H'ART Museum (Hermitage Amsterdam)
In the afternoon there will be a boat tour to let everybody get to know each other better and ease in to the ceremony. There will be 1 hour break before the ceremony to give everybody the chance to freshen up. Please make sure that you have eaten before as we can’t guarantee any food will be available.

5:15 PM - 6 PM, De Hortus Greenhouse
Celebrate the union of Wilhelm and Svetlana in a beautiful ceremony at the Hortus Botanicus greenhouse.
Reception
6 PM - 7 PM, De Hortus Greenhouse
Join us for an elegant reception and raise a toast to the happy couple.
Dinner
7 PM - 12 PM, De Hortus Orangery
As we gather in the stunning orangery for an exquisite three-course dinner, where loved ones can share their cherished memories and well wishes. The evening will transition seamlessly into a lively celebration, with a DJ set up to spin the perfect tunes, inviting everyone to hit the dance floor and create unforgettable moments in the garden under the stars.
After Party

We are happy to announce that we have negotiated rates with the NH Amsterdam Schiller hotel.
The hotel is perfectly placed close to the city center and the Hortus and our vision is that this will be the gather place for the group during the event days.
The cost per room is about 320 € per night including breakfast and all taxes. Please use our referral link to access the best rates.
Please book as soon as possible but no later than April 28th or the hotel might release your room.
If you don’t have a plus one but would like to share a room, please reach out to Wilhelm or Svetlana and we will try to put you together with somebody to share the room with.
If you are more than 2 people sharing a room we recommend contacting the hotel by the contact information on the webpage and they will guide you thru on how to do this.

Dress Code Guidelines
We are thrilled to celebrate our special day with you and want to ensure everyone feels comfortable and stylish. Our recommended dress code is ‘Creative Black Tie,’ which allows for a touch of personal flair while maintaining a formal elegance. However, if you prefer, ‘Semi-Formal’ attire is also perfectly acceptable.
Creative Black Tie Inspiration
For men, think of a classic tuxedo with a twist—perhaps a velvet jacket or a colorful bow tie. Ladies might consider a floor-length gown with unique embellishments or a chic cocktail dress paired with statement accessories. The key is to blend sophistication with a hint of creativity.
Semi-Formal Options
Men can opt for a dark suit with a crisp dress shirt and tie, while women might choose a knee-length dress or a stylish jumpsuit. The goal is to look polished and elegant, fitting the joyous occasion of our wedding celebration.

We encourage you to have a maximum of 3 minutes of speech. This is to make sure that we have room for everyone. If you want to have longer speech please state this clearly in the request and the toastmasters will try to do their best to accommodate this.
The main language of the wedding will be English but we do accept speeches in an language that you prefer.
Just let the toastmaster know if you would like to have someone translate the speech to English at the dinner, ie somebody will translate sentence by sentence as you go.

RSVP & Wedding gift / Payment
Instead of a wedding gift we have decided that we will ask everyone to contribute to make the wedding as a special moment as possible for everyone. We therefore ask everyone to pay 100 $ / 1 100 SEK / 95 € per person to one of the accounts listed below, mark the payment with your name and name of potential +1.
Payment needs to be made latest as soon as possible.
